Bio-Bridge Project
Tree of Life Hotel Initiated Bio Bridge, a project to plant a bio bridge to connect fragmented habitats and offer animal food sources by planting trees. The Miss Tourism pageant took part in this project as well as contestants from all over the world.

Miss-Tourism Sri Lanka International
The Miss Tourism Sri Lanka International pageant aims to promote Sri Lanka as a world-class tourist destination. We are hosting the first event of its kind in Sri Lanka, bringing together young ambassadors from all over the world to experience the beauty and culture of our island and share this experience with their own countries, bringing Sri Lanka to the world. There are 20 representatives from all over the world visiting Sri Lanka for a 14-day stay culminating in this grand pageant.
The Kandy stay of the group was at Hotel Tree of Life, a nature resort with a unique Sri Lankan traditional experience. The contestants experienced the Sri Lankan culture with Kandyan dancing, cooking Sri Lankan cousins, dining with over 30 Sri Lankan dishes (at Kos Pala). The typical red and hette pageant to select Ms. Nature, visit the sacred Dalada Maligawa, authentic Ayurveda treatment, and a biodiversity corridor (tree planting) session to bridge fragmented forest patches for wildlife.
